Gary Wright circa 1976
Wright’s hit coincides with another big hit from the 1970s–conversion vans.
I spotted this beauty in the Swiss town of Wadenswil. Like a harbinger of spring, classic American cars appear on Swiss roads as the temperatures climb and the snow melts. Most of the specimens of Detroit’s heyday are late 1960s-early 1970s muscle cars. However, added into the mix is the occasional station wagon, El Camino and this Chevy conversion van.
Another harbinger of spring, Lindt-Sprungli Chocolate Rabbits…
Happy Spring. The sun came out today in Switzerland. Hopefully this particularly long, cold and dark winter is over.
