Has Sushi been holding Wasabi Back?

For far too long wasabi’s pale, green cone has been relegated to the corner of the plate next to a pile of undulant ginger. Nobody puts wasabi in a corner, at least at Lindt & Sprungli.

Perhaps the chocolate artisans at Lindt & Sprungli have not emerged unscathed by the 50 Shades of Grey hysteria. Their most recent creation pairs a smooth, dark chocolate that lulls your unsuspecting buds into blissful chocasm before the zip of the wasabi, like a dominatrix whip pops your tongue to attention.

Definitely a chocolate I will savor, but only after 5, paired equally well with champagne or saki. Image
